Information regarding commercial licensing of images
A licensed photo can be used for:
Commercial purposes like an advertisement or a campaign
Editorial purposes like newspaper and magazine articles, blog posts, and other written commentaries which gives visual context to a story.
Royalty-Free (RF) Royalty-free licenses are worldwide, with unlimited print and/or online impressions, any-media usage with no expiry or seat limit. Once the photo is licensed by the buyer, you may use it as many times as you want and you do not incur any added costs.
Products for Resale (Extended License) Enhanced license grant which includes the ability to incorporate the image into print or electronic products for resale or distribution (including templates and on-demand products) provided that such a product: a) combines the Image with words and/or other graphics or images; or b) the Image is not the primary factor driving the sale of such product.
If multiple members of a team within the same organization need access to a licensed image, a multi-seat extended license is required.
If any physical print run requires more than 500,000 copies, an Extended License is required. This includes advertising, marketing, and promotional materials, newspapers, magazines, books or product packaging. Digital impressions in excess of 1,000,000 require an extended license and includes video, TV & cinema, software & applications, and electronic documents.
Items for resale require an extended license and include posters, wall art, postcards, mugs, t-shirts, on-demand print products, etc., and digital templates for resale including website templates, brochure design templates, e-greeting cards, etc.
